Craig Krumwiede to be Inducted into ASU W. P. Carey Alumni Hall of Fame

(October 14, 2022) Craig Krumwiede, President and CEO of Harvard Investments, will be inducted into the ASU W. P. Carey Alumni Hall of Fame at a reception scheduled for November 17.

Established in 1977, the W. P. Carey Alumni Hall of Fame has a rich history of recognizing outstanding Alumni for significant contributions to their professions, communities, and W. P. Carey School of Business.

“It’s an honor and privilege to join this distinguished group of ASU Alumni and support the continued vision, mission, and values of the W. P. Carey School of Business,” said Craig Krumwiede.

Mr. Krumwiede has been President of Harvard Investments since 1994. Harvard Investments is an Arizona based real estate development firm which specializes in master planned residential communities, as well as office and multifamily developments. He leads the company’s development and investment activities and is responsible for the implementation of the general investment strategy for the company.

Mr. Krumwiede holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Juris Doctor degree from ASU. He is a Governor in the Urban Land Institute. He is also a Past President of the ASU Council for Design Excellence and a member of the Dean’s Council of 100 for W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU. He was involved in the inception of the Master of Real Estate Development program at ASU and is a current member of the ASU Real Estate Advisory Board. Mr. Krumwiede has also been named as one of the Top 50 graduates of the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law.

In addition, Mr. Krumwiede is a founder of the Tonto Creek Camp, which annually serves 12,000 underprivileged youth in an outdoor STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) camp. He is also a founding member of Social Venture Partners Arizona, which funds and provides expertise to innovative nonprofit organizations and creates educated philanthropists. He  is involved in C4 Foundation which supports Navy SEAL families, as well as many other philanthropic endeavors.

Carey Distinguished Chair. “His career achievements speak for themselves, and his tireless commitment to our school, ASU, and the larger community embody the W. P. Carey spirit of doing good while doing well. Having dedicated alums such as Craig is instrumental for the success of the W. P. Carey School of Business.”

The 2022 W. P. Carey Alumni Hall of Fame event will be held at the McCord Hall Concourse on  the ASU Tempe campus from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. as a part of ASU Homecoming.
