We’re excited to share a major development at Verde Trails, our vibrant master-planned community in Avondale, Arizona. Harvard Investments has officially closed on a 1.74-acre parcel at the southwest corner of Broadway Road and 107th Avenue, paving the way for a brand-new Circle K convenience store and fueling station.
This marks the first commercial closing within Verde Trails and sets the stage for future development across the remaining three commercial parcels. Strategically located on a high-visibility hard corner and surrounded by growing residential neighborhoods, this new Circle K will offer everyday convenience and strengthen community connectivity.
As part of our commitment to thoughtful development, Harvard Investments will be installing offsite right-turn lanes to improve access into the commercial area. We’re also making onsite utility and accessibility improvements to support this project and future tenants.

This announcement comes on the heels of another exciting milestone: the sale of the final residential parcel within Verde Trails. The parcel includes 110 single-family lots designed in a 6-pack cluster format on 45-foot by 55-foot lots. It was sold to Clayton Properties Group, Inc., doing business as Oakwood Homes, a builder known for quality and innovation.
With this addition, Verde Trails now spans approximately 350 acres and includes 880+ homes across a variety of lot sizes. Our 6.5-acre commercial corner is designed to complement the neighborhood with retail offerings that enhance daily life.
