EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN CRAIG KRUMWIEDE APPOINTED TO ULI FOUNDATION BOARD

Executive Chairman Craig Krumwiede has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the ULI Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) that advances sustainable, equitable and transformative community development around the world.

Krumwiede joins a distinguished group of industry leaders responsible for guiding the Foundation’s efforts to support ULI’s mission of shaping the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.

Through philanthropic investment, the ULI Foundation funds research, educational initiatives, leadership development and programs that help real estate professionals address some of the industry’s most pressing challenges.

“I’m honored to be on the board of the ULI Foundation,” Krumwiede said. “ULI has had a huge impact on my career and on our company. This is an opportunity to pay it forward in some small way to support the mission of ULI.”

The appointment represents the latest chapter in Krumwiede’s longstanding involvement with ULI. He currently serves as a ULI Governor, mentors ULI Young Leaders, and is a member of the executive committee of the ULI Arizona District Council. His new role with the Foundation further expands his leadership within one of the world’s most influential real estate organizations.

Earlier this year, Krumwiede transitioned from CEO to Executive Chairman of Harvard Investments. In his current role, he continues to oversee the company’s investment and development activities while helping guide its long-term strategic vision.

During more than four decades with Harvard Investments, Krumwiede has helped transform the company into one of the Southwest’s most respected real estate investment and development firms. His leadership has spanned multiple economic cycles, with a consistent focus on creating long-term value, fostering strong partnerships, and developing communities that endure.

Beyond his work with ULI and Harvard Investments, Krumwiede remains active in civic, educational and philanthropic initiatives. He serves on Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business Dean’s Council and Real Estate Advisory Board and has been recognized by both the W. P. Carey School and the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law for his professional and community contributions.

His community involvement also includes support for numerous charitable organizations, including the C4 Foundation, which serves active-duty Navy SEALs and their families. Krumwiede additionally played a leadership role in helping advance Arizona’s landmark Ag-to-Urban groundwater legislation, supporting water conservation, and sustainable growth throughout the state.

As a member of the ULI Foundation Board, Krumwiede will help support programs and initiatives that advance research, education, leadership development, and collaborative solutions to real estate and community challenges around the globe
